Areal Lab FTP is an FTP tool that photo laboratories can make available to professional photographers.The application’s front office is protected by a username and password, thus ensuring that only users duly accredited by the photo laboratory may gain access. In this area, professional photographers can submit an order for the creation of one or more digital albums, posters or prints, selecting the solution required from the different parameters indicated, with real time order price information.
Once all the parameters have been defined, the user accesses an area to define the images to be sent via FTP to the Laboratory’s server. The thumbnails can be previewed before the files are sent via a simple and intuitive procedure. Once sent, the Laboratory receives notification that a new order note has been sent. This notification automatically pops-up on one or more of the Laboratory’s computers.
After the order has been successfully submitted, the user can access his/her private area to view the order’s status.
The user can also access a history area to look up orders already submitted as well as the details of each order placed.
The Laboratory has access to a table displaying all the current orders of all clients, as well as a client history with all the orders placed through the application. These orders can be filtered by client and by date interval of submitted orders.The formatting of the albums, posters, or prints to be viewed by users (professional photographers) are configured beforehand in the Laboratory’s back office, along with the formatting of prices, product names, the minimum and maximum size for the transmission of images etc…
This product also has a dictionary, enabling its use in two languages.
